Relationships

The UAE is a country with many relationships with other nations including most importantly with the GCC countries because of the similar back grounds and cultures. Some of these similarities include: Arabic poetry, camel & horse racing & hunting with birds.

The way that people teach their children also is similar built on respecting people, helping the poor & working to earn their living these are the true Arabian and Emirati culture. The UAE has relations with the countries like Qatar, Saudia Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman & many countries around the world. However the GCC countries are like brothers together because they work hard to make their countries better & safer for the people who live there.

The old UAE traditions

In the old days people in the UAE ate & made different food types for breakfast, lunch & dinner. People had different types of food: (Ryoog) is breakfast in Arabic the types are (bilaleat, khimear, chibab, hireas & khabeasa).

Lunch in the UAE is Called (Ghidah): the different types of food are Biryani Chicken & lamb, Chicken saloona & Fish and rice.

For dinner which is called (Isha) the food is nearly the same as the lunch menu but sometimes different, because after dinner people prefer to have some sweets so they eat less food.

Alktateeb

Teaching in UAE and GCC countries:

Years ago ‘Almutawaa’ used to be in the UAE society as a good man who gives his life to serve the people needs. In past Almutawaa had lots of names like Almula, Al sheikh, and Alfaqeeh.
Almutawaa is a teacher who teaches kids. When Kids reach the age of six years or seven years families start to send their kids to Almutawaa to teach them Al Quran. More over Almutwaa teaches the students how to write and read.

The working days for the students were about three to four years. Also the working days were divided into morning and evening shifts.
At the weekend on every Thursdays families gather up to give Almutawaa his salary (Alkmeesia).
